The scheme involved the acquisition of the site initially by
Concept Development Solutions Ltd., in order to enable Trident
Housing Association to finalise funding arrangements.
A subsequent land and building contract, which the Company has
entered into with Trident Housing Association, this will enable
the development of 24 No. specially designed foyer apartments
to be construction, together with communal teaching facilities,
warden’s office and secured central courtyard facility.
The initial scheme posed a number of planning problems, many
due to local residents reluctant to see “problem individuals”,
brought into the immediate area. This perception however has been
changed to the establishment of a close working relationship between
Trident Housing Association, Sandwell MBC and the Company.
